Scott is an internationally recognized artist, critic, publisher, and curator with fourteen years of college teaching experience and six years of writing tutoring experience. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art History and has helped hundreds of students and creative professionals achieve academic success through effective writing.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Scott is an alumnus of the Episcopal School of Dallas, Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, Colorado College (BA), and Southern Methodist University (MA).
